Coeur d’Alene does not have a coffee shortage. Or a shortage of happy people to hang out in the many Coeur d’Alene coffee shops. Life is good in Coeur d’Alene when you can hang out with your friends in so many places to drink coffee.

Coeur d’Alene best coffee city has an unlimited amount of drive-through coffee stands in almost every parking lot and corners around town. But our favorites are the coffee shops where you can sit and drink and talk with friends. Or even to meet with clients to talk about a new business project.

Of course, we have Starbucks everywhere, but the locals enjoy the homegrown coffee shops like Coeur d’Alene Coffee,(my favorite). And the VAULT, Union Roasters, Road House Coffee Co., Strada, Calypsos, Grumpy Monkey, Union, and many others.

Now you would think that all this competition would be frowned upon, but when there are so many coffee companies to compete with, the coffee standard is raised. And this helps support the Coeur d’Alene coffee community. This town has become a coffee HUB, like Seattle because of the competition.

The intense competition in such a small town has a created a coffee thinker-tank to create a specific Coeur d’Alene flavor. Our coffee town encourages people to visit different coffee shops to experience Coeur d’Alene COFFEE.

In Coeur d’Alene the coffee is good but the people are better. The relationships are better and the experience is better. The coffee shop owners get very involved in the community and in giving back to the people that live here. Community is a common theme throughout our coffee city.

We have latte art competitions hosted by the coffee owners. And we have neighborhood tastings hosted by the coffee shops. Our coffee community says the future of Coeur d’Alene coffee is in the cups of coffee of the people that drink them.
