Coeur d' alene native
Who Is Grayson Cross?
Grayson Cross is a Coeur d'Alene native; a rarity these days. A young man who is extremely comfortable in the digital world and an active member in the Innovation Collective Community, as well as heavily involved in the Crypto Currency world. A homeschool graduate, top of his class at KTEC, certified, at 17 yrs old holding over 5 certifications for marketing and information technology. He attended North Idaho College making the deans list every year, established a successful marketing company and clothing company all before his 21st birthday.
Discovered by Tedder Industries and brought on to help lead them into the future of digital media, personally guiding his team in generating over $50,000,000 dollars in website revenue. In 2020 he shifted his focus to consult and be responsible for large scale marketing projects which net between $10-$30 million dollars in revenue.
Being raise by long-term local, Coeur d’Alene conservatives, Cross has decided to shift his focus from digital marketing to local politics. After buying a historic home built in the 1910s, Cross became acutely aware that there are some egregious city policies and local governmental agendas that need to be changed to better serve the other long-term locals.
Grayson announced on his social media, in mid July, that he intends to run for Coeur d'Alene City Council in late November 2021. We reached out to Cross for a brief a brief summary for the reason he feels compelled to run for Coeur d'Alene City Council at such a young age:
"I've lived in Coeur d'Alene my entire life…I was born at Kootenai Medical Center and I've seen it change a great deal in that time… You cannot stop the growth our city is experiencing, however we can work hard, together, to ensure the reasons that made us so great and put this wonderful little city on the global map are not lost with this extensive growth. There are many areas of legislation I aim to simplify or eliminate for the citizens of Coeur d'Alene; protecting the rights and freedoms of residents, specifically home owners of Coeur d'Alene. We have lost our common sense and our town has turned into a bureaucrats dream. I am going to fight for the locals, the people that make this town run, for the young and elderly alike. My focus is on how to adequately handle with the influx of tourists that come here to enjoy all Coeur d’Alene has to offer and a growing population much above national average that is causing great stress on our beloved locals. My main objective, however, is to enable our natives and long-term locals the ability to live here and not get pushed out by inflated property taxes, bureaucratic paper pushers and the tendency I am seeing from our current local administration is to cater to the new residents instead of those who were instrumental in building this town.”
“Less Legislation, More Freedom!"Cross aims to take seat number 4 currently held by Woody McEvers and shares a strong sentiment regarding the lack of City Counsel representation for the ever growing younger population in Coeur d’Alene. Grayson has also made it clear that he is running in conjunction with his two personal friends Morgan Dixon (Running for Seat 6 Currently Held by Kiki Miller) and Jeremy Smith running for seat #2. The three friends have started a new political party called CommonSenseCDA.com to learn more about this endeavor visit the FULL ARTICLE on theses three candidates
