Coeur d’Alene Marathon runs every year and is a Coeur d’Alene family event. With kids running the last 3.2 miles of the marathon with their Parents and friends. The last 5k of the marathon the kids jump into the race and finish it off with the adults that run the Marathon of 26 miles.
Coeur d’Alene is such a supportive community that we have more than enough volunteers to help support the Coeur d’Alene Marathon. The Marathon event has been running strong for 40 consecutive years so far with no plans of stopping. This year the event will take place on may 28th.

The marathon runs around this beautiful Lake City CDA with breathtaking views. Family, friends, and neighbors are cheering on the athletes on every mile of the race. Actually, it is more of a community event than a race. Just participating makes you a winner in the eyes of the community.

Marathon committee members are Elizabeth Preston, Jami Daugherty, Andrew Willis, Steve Eller, Curt Dupuis, Isaac Mann, Aimee Peters, Josh Strabu, Jillian Caires, Ned Tower, Ben Tran, Hunter Price, and Diane Higdem. The Coeur d’Alene Marathon director is Cynthia Rozyla.

The “Enjoy Coeur d’Alene” video crew will be filming the event and interviewing some of the participants.

This CDA Marathon starts the busy Summer Season with many great summer activities for all to enjoy. Art On The Green, 4th of July Parade, Festival and Fireworks, Art Walk, Live After 5, Fair, Car D’lane, Taste of CDA, Street Fair, and IRONMAN to name a few.
