Coeur d’Alene has many hidden gems when it comes to local restaurants, and this is one of the best.

I was told by many friends how awesome Angelo’s restaurant is.   How small and cozy the facility is and how amazing the food is.

After hearing about Angelo’s for 8 years living in Coeur d’Alene I finally went to Angelos CDA.

When we walked into Angelos I was not sure what to expect.  As soon as we entered this little tiny restaurant we were greeted by 3 employees saying hello and we quickly were placed at a table.

We started with a nice bottle of house wine.

We enjoyed the breadbasket that was placed on our table.

My wife ordered the Veal Marsala.  My kids have never seen Veal and asked what the heck it was.  My wife said it tastes great and did not explain what it was.

I ordered the Salmon Sicilian Style.  I love Salmon cooked, raw or any way I can get it.  This dish was AMAZING!

My son wanted a cheeseburger and I’m happy they did not offer it.  So he ordered the Chicken Parmigiano.

One of my daughters ate so much bread and a root beer she ordered a bowl of soup.   And she loved it, she said it was the best bowl of soup she has ever had.

My other daughter ordered a Caesar Salad.   She expected a basic salad like she gets at a normal restaurant.

But she was surprised how good it was and it was perfect for her dinner plate.

Angelo’s is a small family business.  And you can usually find Angelo in the kitchen cooking the food.  Angelo loves good food and he loves his customers even more.  If you want your food cooked a special way, NO PROBLEM.  Angelo will make it as you want it.

This is a place you have to experience when you visit Coeur d’Alene.  If you are local and you want great food, and the price is not an issue.  Then come and eat at Angelo’s house.
