The City of Coeur d’Alene loads up with athletes and their families when Ironman comes to town every summer. Lake Coeur d’Alene fills up with swimmers getting ready to race. The roads are full of bikers getting in their last miles of training before race day.
The restaurants load up with hungry athletes and downtown CDA turns into an “Athletic Party” in celebration of a great week in Coeur d’Alene. The energy is electric with the 3000 Ironman participants. All the volunteers ready to hand out water bottles and direct athletes along the race path.
