This is an experience you have to do at least once.  When the weather is right

and the snow has melted this adventure is a must do.

.

See spectacular scenery in North Idaho while you coast 15 miles downhill on your bike.  The trail opens May 27th and runs through the summer season.  Lookout Pass ski hill operates this ride and offers rentals and shuttle service.

.

You ride through beautiful vistas and overlook the Bitterroot Mountains.  Ride over trestle bridges and through old train tunnels. The trail passes, shuttle tickets and bike rentals are available at Lookout Pass Ski Area located just off Interstate 90, at exit 0, at the Idaho-Montana state line, 12 miles east of historic Wallace, Idaho.  About a 1-hour drive from downtown Coeur d’Alene.

.

The Hiawatha trail is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PDT daily starting May 27 through September 24.  Tel: 208-744-1234.
