The streets were lined with spectators. The Coeur d’Alene Resort was full of guests and the Car D’Lane Parade delivered a spectacular performance. The RED HOT MAMAS started the parade with a hilarious performance.

The vendor’s booths were full of happy customers, the children were laughing and the video cameras were all focused on the classic car parade. This 2018 Classic Car show was filled with pre-1975 cars and trucks of all models and makes.

All of the car entries were staged on East Lakeside Ave. lined up waiting for the starting gun. The cars were getting their final polishing and the drivers were sharing stories with each other.

The Car d’Alene Parade starts and the applause begins. It was incredible watching the classic Cameros, Model-T’s, Lola, Mustangs, Chevy’s, VW-Bus’s, Vans, Firetrucks, Jeeps, Corvettes, Roadsters, Hearst, Trans Am, T-Birds, VW Bugs, Fiats, and many others.

The Bands were rocking, the Police were directing traffic and smiling, the ice creme was melting, and the cotton candy was disappearing.

Every year the Coeur d’Alene area keeps growing because people love living here. Leaving the big city behind and enjoying the good life in a small-town environment.
