On November 8th, 2018, The Camp Fire, within a couple of hours devoured the town of Paradise – population 27,000. About 95 percent of the town of Paradise was lost.

Julie Paterson tells the story about 2 generations of Dentists from Paradise looking to relocate in Coeur d’Alene, Hayden Idaho.

The father is a retired dentist from Paradise and 2 of his children are Dentists.  Their dental office in Paradise was burned to the ground.

HAYDEN IDAHO:  A city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. Located in the northern portion of the state, it is a suburb of nearby Coeur d’Alene and its population is about 15,294.

HAYDEN the city has a total area of 9.61 square miles (24.89 km2), with 40 miles of lake shoreline. It lies at the southwestern end of Hayden Lake, and the elevation of the city is 2,287 feet (697 m) above sea level.

COEUR D’ALENE IDAHO:  It is the principal city of the Coeur d’Alene Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of Coeur d’Alene is about 52,137.

The city has a total area of 16.08 square miles (41.65 km2), of which, 15.57 square miles (40.33 km2) is land, and the lake is 25 miles long with 135 miles of shoreline. The wooded lands east of the city have been designated for protection and management as the Coeur d’Alene National Forest.  at an elevation of 2,180 ft (660 m) above sea level.
